Was just reading a poem about self-impowerment.
The subject of the poem was feeling good about who you are and how you are ( a positive message ).
Sadly, the message was freighted on the back of villifying society. Embodying it as some force of ill intent.
Why do we, when acting in ugly ways to each other, need to see it as the action of some impersonal, outside entity?
Society is the relationship between individuals. Change the relationship, change society.
How we treat others, how we respond to how they treat us.
Changing society is about changing ourselves.
